Obviously, one of the biggest issues right now is whether or not it makes sense to alter the calendar. The student body has been very active on BVSD Listens and in other ways as well, and we almost unanimously agree that the calendar should not be changed. The poll says that there's no option other than changing things, but is it really fair to issue such an ultimatum? Seeing as the majority of those affected by the issue of the heat in the beginning of the year are students of primary school, would it not make more sense to change only their calendar? We're the students of BVSD, and we have our best interest in mind, please trust that and listen to what we have to say.
