If the kids get to start later they will get more weeks of 5 days per week, they will be ready for school to start and not have these useless weeks at the beginning of the year where the teacher is waiting for the week to be 5 days so does nothing or shows movies, there will be less movies shown at the end of the school year for kids in regular classes. Teachers need to feel each week counts and the beginning of the year in August is just a waste. So is the end of the year when they show too many movies if the school year starts in August.
